Snippets Library

It holds pre-saved pieces of text for quick use in AI prompts. Think of it as a personal toolbox: instead of retyping the same phrases, you grab ready-made ones.

In Promptitude, these include default options for common needs, plus your custom ones for things like style guides, company values or project instructions. You create them once via settings, label them, and store text or upload files. This setup ensures every AI interaction uses the exact wording, avoiding mistakes from copying.

It cuts repetition, boosts consistency in AI outputs, and speeds up workflows—key for teams handling docs, marketing, or customer chats. No more errors from manual copies; everything stays aligned with your standards, making AI tools more reliable daily.

Microsoft Writing Style Guide and Smart Breviity are already included in our Snippets Library. You can easily create a style-guide or any other custom snippet in Promptitude's settings for easy reuse:

1. Go to the Snippets Library in the sidebar (accessible via app.promptitude.io/snippets-library).
2. Click Add New Snippet, assign a label (e.g., "StyleGuide"), name it (e.g., "Brand Style Guide"), and paste your full style guide text—include rules for tone (e.g., "professional yet approachable"), voice (e.g., "first-person plural"), keywords, formatting (e.g., "use bullet points for lists"), and examples.
3. Save it; optionally upload as a file for longer guides. Teams on paid plans can lock it for edits to maintain consistency.

In Promptitude, the style guide functions as a reusable snippet (via the Snippets Library) that you insert into prompts as context to enforce consistent tone, voice, and formatting across AI outputs.
